winning the BC Hydro Community Champion program.
This fall, non-profit organizations throughout the province participated in the
BC Hydro Community Champions program and demonstrated their contributions to
environmental sustainability and stewardship in their communities.
Congratulations to you and the team at Spare Time Child Care Society! Your
organization was selected as a Community Champion and will receive an award of
$10,000.
Thank you for your commitment to sustainability and for participating in the

Thank you for your video submission to the 2013 BC Hydro Community Champions
Program.
We received numerous video submissions, all of which were unique and told an
interesting story. After careful review and consideration of your submission
based on the criteria posted on the Community Champions website, I am pleased
to advise you that your video has been selected as one of our 15 finalists this
year. Congratulations!
Beginning October 15th, your video and organization will be platformed on the
Community Champions website. The public and classroom voting period runs from
October 15 to November 15. Public can vote once each day.
We appreciate the effort your organization made to submit this video. It is
inspiring to see all the tremendous grass-roots initiatives that are taking
place in communities across the province and commend you for being part of our
changing conservation culture.
