Spare Time Child Care Society is a non-profit, parent run society and a registered charity in BC. All of our centres are licensed and fully integrated.
We strive to provide the best possible programs for the families in our communities and we take great pride in providing programs designed to meet the individual needs of each child. By offering a wide variety of age-appropriate challenges and choices to children, our programs nurture positive growth and self-confidence.
It is with support from our partners and friends that we are able to provide the highest level of care to the children in our communities.

A non-profit that empowers children and youth with disabilities and complex health needs across British Columbia by providing vital support for medical care, equipment, therapies, and educational opportunities.
The City of Vancouver fosters education through its Vancouver Public Library, which aims to meet lifelong learning and information needs, and by offering community and neighborhood grants that support after-school, educational, and youth programs.
Service Canada supports the education community by providing student financial assistance for college and university, as well as resources for apprenticeships, continuing education, co-op programs, and internships, aiming to improve the standard of living and quality of life for all Canadians.
The Vancouver School Board offers diverse K-12 & adult programs, including French Immersion & career training. They provide extensive student support, community partnerships, and resources for mental health & special needs, serving Vancouver's education community.
The BC government supports after-school childcare via initiatives like the ChildCareBC plan, funding new spaces, and integrating care into schools. They also offer fee reductions and subsidies to make programs affordable for families
Westcoast Childcare Resource Centre supports after-school programs by offering resources, referrals, and training to families and providers. They also host the Vancouver Child Care Resource & Referral, aiding in finding quality care and navigating subsidies.
