We offer a network of well-established centers across Vancouver, each providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for children to learn, play, and grow. Our locations are conveniently situated within community schools, ensuring easy access for families. With a focus on safety and engagement, each center is staffed by experienced professionals dedicated to supporting your child's development.
We accept children to our waitlists all year around with a goal to provide child care to as many families as possible. Priority is given to current Spare Time families who are currently enroled in one of our programs. Space availability depends on factors such as licence type, licensed capacity, and enrolment levels. Other considerations include maintaining a balance of age groups to support smooth transitions between programs. Due to these factors, our waitlist is not based on a "first come, first serve basis.
You can still add your child to the waitlist, as long as your child is accepted into the school where our program operates.
Your child can be added to the waitlist any time, as long as your child is attending the school where our program operates.
If your child is an incoming kindergarten student for the following school year, your child can join the waitlist after you have registered at your catchment school where our program operates.
No, there is no fee to join the waitlist.
Please contact the Centre Manager to discuss your child’s needs. You can find the centre location information here.
When a space becomes available, you will be contacted by email and given one week to decide.
You may choose to remain on the waitlist or be removed from it entirely. If you decline the offered space and wish to remain on the waitlist, your child will be placed at the bottom of the list.
Questions? Please contact the Centre Manager at their corresponding Locations.
