All new Spare Time members are required to provide a $100.00 deposit upon registration. This will be applied to the final month upon the one-month notice of withdrawal from the centre.
E-transfer, cheque, or cash
An Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB) is available for those who qualify from the Ministry of Children and Families. Families receiving this subsidy will also be required to pay a $50.00 deposit and provide post-dated cheques or an E-Transfer for their portion as stated above, the difference between the monthly fee and the benefit authorization. There will be additional fees for district closure days, Winter Break and Spring Break. The centre must receive authorization forms prior to the child attending or you will be responsible for paying the full fee, and you will be reimbursed when the authorization is received. • Instructional Days: Sept 2, 2025 to June 25th, 2026
• Full day care for kindergarten gradual entry in September is not available.
(care is 7:30am to 9:00 am, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm) regular monthly fees apply.
• All programs will be closed on Friday June 26th, 2026, for summer preparations
• Non-Instructional Days: 6 Non-Instructional Days, plus 4 early dismissals (2:00 pm) related to parent teacher conferences.
Summer, Winter and Spring Breaks are not included in monthly rates; payment is in addition to regular monthly fees.

*CCFRI The Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI) within the Child Care Operating Funding (CCOF) Program provides funding to make child care more affordable for families across the province. Funding is available to eligible, licensed child care organizations to reduce monthly child care fees. Eligible child care organizations must apply to the Ministry of Children and Family Development to receive CCFRI funding.
